The swimming pool uses a salt water system to chlorinate the water. This simply works by adding salt to the water, which is then turned into chlorine by a chlorinating machine. Salt water pools are generally acknowledged to be better for the skin and healthier than normal chlorine pools.
The pool has been designed for families in mind. The kids pool also doubles as a Jacuzzi. The main pool is 90cm deep in the shallow end (shallow enough for most 5 year olds – the age when kids start to learn to swim) and 1.6m in the deep end.
You are free to use the pool when you like. However, please be aware that you are next to the staff house and try not to be too noisy late at night (The staff will be up at dawn)
